Building on long history of innovation, Promise Technology offers a complete line of industry leading DAS and SAN based external storage solutions for any computing environment.
Enterprise customers that require the highest levels of performance and availability can choose from E-Class VTrak storage subsystems which offer either complete end to end SAS based RAID and JBOD solutions for DAS connectivity or a Fibre Channel based solution for SAN based storage. The enterprise class storage products all offer best in class availability with fully redundant active/active RAID controllers and no single point of failure for maximum uptime. These products also offer drive flexibility with support for both 3Gb/s SAS and SATA drives to allow the user to choose the storage that best fits their needs.
For the midrange customers Promise offers the M-Class series of storage products with either iSCSI for IP SAN connectivity or traditional U320 SCSI for DAS solutions. With support for SATA drives these products offer a cost effective, high performance storage solution.
The NAS product line is ideal for workgroups, small businesses and home users. These products combine the ease of use of NAS ¡V simply plug the device into the network and the storage can be available to everyone on the network ¡V with the performance and reliability of Promise RAID. With support for either two or four drives these products offer the quickest way to easily add network storage.
Each of these external storage products, as with all Promise RAID products, is powered by the Promise RAID engine. This RAID engine has been developed by Promise to deliver proven performance, reliability, and stability. With over 15 million instances of this RAID code shipped, users can be sure that their data is protected by the same engine that protects enterprise class data centers around the world.
